New HoM statue (for holding halls)
Hey,
I think there should be a statue for having hold halls one time. This might be a bit hard because most people would achieve this on a pvp, but I'm sure it won't be hard to fix since the HoM is going to be account based anyway.
This statue would be called Eternal Fame and shows a picture of the ghostly 'ascending' (while really:P the statue isn't moving). Because that's actually the reason you go to halls (though I think most people go for the fame/drops/fun).

No......
1) This should be in Sardelac
2) You already need rank 8 for a statue. If you got to rank 8 without winning halls, you really freakin' suck, but that's just too bad.
3) Winning halls is not an accomplishment and does not warrant a statue. Anyone can grab some hereos at 4am and go hold halls.
edit: ah, I read the OP wrong on the bit about ascending. I thought you meant a player goes there to ascend -_-. I don't know about the ghostly... <--does not pay attention to lore

Well, tombs would make some sense, isnt it similar to an elite mission? I meen, one for The deep, urgoz, doa, Fow, UW, and sorrows.
So why not Tombs?

It makes sense. Yes... it isn't as much of an acomplishment as achieving rank 8 hero, but it is a lot more of an acomplishment then a lot of things you have a statue for (max sunspear, etc).

Because PvE titles like reputation titles are an accomplishment and warrant a statue, mirite?
Anyways, I don't really care. It wouldn't affect me if they did, and certainly won't affect me if they don't. I see no harm in it, so sure, why not.

When you compare it to 55 min HM Fow/UW runs, 2 Hour HM DoA runs and the oh so demanding SF quests that can be done in an hour with h/h, yes it's hard and I'm willing to bet that over 3/4 of gw players never held halls.

You already got the thing for the title so why another one for doing smth you kinda had to do to get to that title.
It's like giving a statue to people for winning 25 times in TA...

Oh, wow, did I say that? No...don't think so. Don't lose your panties . I think most PvE titles are meh-ish.

I think its more like 90+% of people who never have been to halls match, and winnig it, well ...
PvP players underestimate how much effort average PvEr would have to put to win halls ... and never ever suceed. Its not like it can be farmed and skip well ... skip for them means assrape by someone who is at halls.
It's mindboogling, really.

OFC the hardest bit is acctually finding a decent team but it seems hard enough to warrent a title anyway.

I can't see how holding halls deserves a monument. It's like suggesting getting a monument for finishing 4-5 missions in PvE.
Maybe something like holding Halls x amounts of times?

QFT.
Just becuase most PvPers find holding halls a relatively easy achievement, doesn't mean that winning halls is that easy for the "average" player. I'd go so far to say that less then 2% of the entire GW population has actually won halls.

As much as I love PvP, I agree that this is not needed. R8 requires a decent amount of Fame. Pretty much everyone at least R8 has won Halls at least once.
